A Message From Their Opportunity

"We are a national children's charity that delivers & subsidizes local sport for development & community engagement programming. Our programs & services help eliminate barriers of access & promote a lifestyle of giving back, empowering youth to reach their full potential."

How does Their Opportunity Provide Support?

Step 1: Receive Family’s Application and Information

Step 2: Verify Financial Need of Family

Step 3: Distribute Subsidy (Provided by donors and partners like us!)

This can be done in a variety of ways, but Their Opportunity’s longest standing pillar is their subsidies program. It's built to help remove the financial barrier to ensure children from all economic backgrounds can by funding a portion or all of their registration league fees so they have an equal opportunity to participate in grassroots sports and recreation.

Their Opportunity also hosts an ongoing hockey equipment drive that sees over 1000 bags of gently used or new hockey equipment collected and distributed through our league partners and subsidy families but also to 35 indigenous communities across Canada! Their Opportunity works closely with many equipment manufacturers and retailers to provide the best cost savings to our subsidy families as possible to as many sports as possible!

5c from every can, and 10c from every pint purchased of Locker Room Lager is donated to Their Opportunity.
